Recommended following skin care tips for caring for the rest of the body:
1)Bathe or shower in lukewarm water. Hot water removes natural oil from the skin, making it dry and itchy.
2)Limit your showers to 10 to 12 minutes.
3)Add bath oils to your water (Always be careful to wash the tub or chamber when using oil as it can make surface slippery ).
4)Use mild Body washes and try to avoid deodorant soaps, as they can be more drying to the skin.
5)Apply moisturizers to skin immediately after a bath or shower while your skin is still damp,as damp skin absorbs better.
6)Shave using lotion or Body washes which can be used for shaving insteadd of regular shavingn foam.
7)Apply petroleum jelly/Vaseline/Thick heavy oil like Olive oil on problem areas to heal very dry skin.
8)After washing your hands, remember to put cream to prevent dryness.
9)Purchase a humidifier to keep the humidity higher during the winter.
10)Always use sunscreen whether you are in or going out.
